Julia Bray is a local award-winning artist and instructor creating bold, textured non-objective paintings she calls “Organized Chaos.” Born in Baton Rouge and raised in Natchez, she earned her BFA in Painting and Drawing from Mississippi University for Women.
Her work is represented at ArtsNatchez and other various outlets. She also teaches hands-on workshops in abstract painting, printmaking, Gelli plate techniques, and book arts in both Natchez and St. Francisville (OLLI and Arts for All). Julia has exhibited at Art on the Bluff and the Yellow Leaf Arts Festival.
